Latrice Crawford has been the owner, operator, and
director of a successful childcare center generating over seven figures
per year consistently for the past 10 years. Her goal is to help others with
a passion for early childhood education to open successful quality
childcare centers.
Starting her business in 2007 was the result of searching for affordable
quality childcare center in her community for her son. The centers that
were in her area were not up to her expectations and standards as a
parent. Then, she had a light bulb moment. Why weren’t there any
affordable quality childcare centers in her area? Subsequently, she
researched childcare centers and the future growth in her community
and found the perfect location. After 6 months of hard work and
dedication, KidZville Learning Academy was open for business.
During her 14 years in business, she has learned from the mistakes and
lessons she has experienced. Her brand and persona, The Childcare Chic,
operates with the goal to help others prevent making the
same time consuming and costly mistakes she experienced. Currently,
she offers courses, one-on-one coaching sessions, and a mentorship
program and will soon be releasing a series of e-books.
